Background remover Terms of Use

The Tool uses an AI model that runs in your browser to separate the main subject of a photo from its background. You can replace the background, touch up the result and download it. Results are automatic and may not be perfect.

You may use the Tool for lawful, honest purposes, for example:

• product photos for your shop, catalogue or marketplace listing;
• profile pictures, passport-style photos and portraits of yourself, or of others with their permission;
• designs, presentations, posters and social media posts using images you have the rights to.

You must not use the Tool, or anything it produces:

• on photos you don't own or have no permission to edit, or in a way that infringes copyright, trademarks or anyone's privacy;
• to remove or hide watermarks, logos, credits or copyright notices;
• to create fake, misleading or manipulated images of real people, including fake evidence, fake IDs or documents, or images placing people in situations that didn't happen;
• to create sexual, abusive, defamatory or harassing content, or any content involving minors in a harmful way;
• to impersonate any person, company, brand or government body.
• to break any law in India or your country, or to help anyone else do so;
• with bots, scripts or automated requests that overload or misuse the Tool or the website.

You alone are responsible for how you use the Tool and its results, and for checking that results are right for your purpose. Results are produced automatically and may be wrong or incomplete.

The Tool is free and provided “as is”, without any warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, K2 Web:

• is not responsible or liable for any use or misuse of the Tool or its results, by you or anyone else;
• is not responsible for the content of photos you edit or the images you create;
• is not liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, claim, penalty or consequence arising from the Tool;
• gives no promise that the Tool is accurate, secure, error-free or always available.

You agree to indemnify and hold K2 Web harmless from any claim, loss or cost (including legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of the Tool or your breach of these terms. Our total liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service.

The Tool may change, pause or stop at any time. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
