01Your photo stays on your device
When you open a photo, your browser processes it locally with an AI model. The photo, the result and any background image you add are not uploaded to K2 Web or anyone else. They're gone when you close or reload the page, unless you downloaded them.
02The AI model download
The first time you use the Tool (and only after you agree), your browser downloads the open-source ORMBG model (about 44 MB) from Hugging Face's servers, and the AI engine (about 12 MB) from the jsDelivr CDN, or our website if the CDN is unavailable. Like any download, this shares your IP address and browser details with those providers. No photo or personal data is sent. The model is then stored in your browser's Cache Storage so it loads instantly next time. Clear your browser's site data to remove it.
