Signature generator Terms of Use

The Tool lets you draw, type or clean up a photo of your own signature and download it as an image. It runs in your browser.

You may use the Tool for lawful, honest purposes, for example:

• signing your own letters, forms, invoices, agreements and emails;
• adding your signature to documents you're authorised to sign.

You must not use the Tool, or anything it produces:

• to create, copy, trace or imitate anyone else's signature, or to sign on behalf of someone without their written permission;
• to forge or alter cheques, agreements, certificates, government forms, bank or legal documents;
• to commit fraud, identity theft or impersonation of any kind.
• to break any law in India or your country, or to help anyone else do so;
• with bots, scripts or automated requests that overload or misuse the Tool or the website.

An image of a signature is an electronic representation, not a certified digital signature. Under India's Information Technology Act, 2000 some documents need an Aadhaar eSign or a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC), and some documents (such as certain property and court documents) must still be signed on paper.

Check what the receiving organisation accepts before you use a signature image. The Tool gives no guarantee of legal validity.

Treat your signature image like a password. Don't share the file widely, and only place it on documents you send directly. We recommend adding it to PDFs yourself rather than sending the image to others.

You alone are responsible for how you use the Tool and its results, and for checking that results are right for your purpose. Results are produced automatically and may be wrong or incomplete.

The Tool is free and provided “as is”, without any warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, K2 Web:

• is not responsible or liable for any use or misuse of the Tool or its results, by you or anyone else;
• is not responsible for the legal validity of any signature image, or for any misuse of a signature created with the Tool;
• is not liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, claim, penalty or consequence arising from the Tool;
• gives no promise that the Tool is accurate, secure, error-free or always available.

You agree to indemnify and hold K2 Web harmless from any claim, loss or cost (including legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of the Tool or your breach of these terms. Our total liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service.

The Tool may change, pause or stop at any time. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
