In short
- Only make QR codes for links, accounts and payment IDs that are yours or that you're allowed to share.
- Never use it to redirect payments, phish, or spread scams or malware.
- Always scan-test a code before printing. We're not responsible for codes that don't work or are misused.
- K2 Web is not responsible or liable for how you use the Tool or its results.
01What the Tool does
The Tool creates static QR codes in your browser for links, UPI payments, Wi-Fi, WhatsApp, contact cards, email, phone and SMS. The content is stored inside the code itself, so codes never expire and can't be changed or tracked by us.
02Allowed use
You may use the Tool for lawful, honest purposes, for example:
- UPI payment QR codes for your own shop or account;
- menus, Google review links, social profiles, Wi-Fi access, visiting cards and posters for your own business or event.
03Prohibited use
You must not use the Tool, or anything it produces:
- to create UPI or payment QR codes with someone else's UPI ID, or to replace or cover a genuine QR code (for example at a shop, petrol pump or parking) to divert payments;
- for phishing, fake login pages, malware, fake offers, lottery or job scams, or links that hide where they really go;
- to impersonate a business, bank, government body or person, or to collect personal data without consent;
- to share Wi-Fi credentials or contact details you don't have permission to share.
- to break any law in India or your country, or to help anyone else do so;
- with bots, scripts or automated requests that overload or misuse the Tool or the website.
04UPI and payment codes
A payment QR code only contains the UPI ID, name, optional amount and note you enter. It does not process money. Payments are handled entirely by the payer's UPI app and bank. K2 Web never receives, holds or tracks any payment.
Check the UPI ID and name carefully and test the code with a small payment before you display it. We are not responsible for payments sent to a wrong, mistyped or tampered code.
05Your responsibility
You alone are responsible for how you use the Tool and its results, and for checking that results are right for your purpose. Results are produced automatically and may be wrong or incomplete.
06We are not responsible
The Tool is free and provided “as is”, without any warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, K2 Web:
- is not responsible or liable for any use or misuse of the Tool or its results, by you or anyone else;
- is not responsible for payments, losses or disputes arising from any QR code made with the Tool, including wrong or tampered UPI details;
- is not responsible for the content, safety or availability of any link, app or account a QR code points to;
